The fact that in the case of theft of oil and the pollution of the Druzhba pipeline new figures appeared, it became known in the morning on Tuesday. Interfax reported that the Samara District Court sent four people under house arrest - Vladimir Matyukhin, Dmitry Nikishov, Roman Gladkov and Roman Yakushev. They are suspected of committing a crime under paragraphs "a" and "b" of Part 4 of Article 215.3 of the Criminal Code (unauthorized connection to oil pipelines, oil pipelines and gas pipelines, or their deterioration).

The new persons involved in the case are employees of a Transneft subsidiary, spokesman for the company Igor Demin told Interfax. According to him, the detainees worked at Transneft Druzhba. Dmitry Nikishov is the deputy head of the Kuibyshev district administration of the Druzhba pipeline for commodity and transport operations, and Roman Yakushev is the head of one of the departments of this department, Demin explained. Roman Gladkov is the head of the Lopatino Acceptance Point (PSP), and Vladimir Matyukhin is the engineer of this point.

Earlier in the case of pollution "Friendship" appeared six people. In mid-May, the court arrested in absentia for two months the founder of Petroneft, Roman Trushev, and the former general director of Samaratransneft-Terminal, Roman Ruzhechko, who are on the international wanted list. They are accused of committing a crime under the same article. Four other defendants in the case are arrested. This is about Svetlana Balabai, General Director of Nefteperevalalka, Rustam Khusnutdinov, Deputy Director of Nefteperal'ki, Deputy Director General of Neftepevalki, Vladimir Zhogolev, General Director of Petroneftti Aktiv, and Sergey Balandin, Deputy Director of Magistral.

The scandal with poor-quality oil in the pipeline "Friendship", going to European countries, happened in April. On April 19, Belneftekhim reported a sharp deterioration in Russian oil refineries running through the Druzhba pipeline to Belarusian refineries (the content of organochlorine compounds exceeded the norm tenfold). As a result, Belarus suspended the export of light petroleum products to Ukraine, a number of European countries (Poland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia) stopped taking oil from Friendship. On April 30, Belarus stopped taking in fuel from Russia, but soon deliveries resumed.

According to investigators, the criminal group stole oil and supplied low-quality fuel to Friendship in order to hide the shortage.
