Resale of yachts immediately after their construction was widespread until 2008. Earn on this could be 15-20%.

The billionaire and owner of Areti, Igor Makarov, put up for sale his 85-meter yacht Areti. Information about this appeared on the site of the yacht broker Burgess. The cost of the yacht, according to the broker, is a little over $ 205 million (€ 175 million). Makarov owned the yacht not for long: he received it only in the spring of last year. The boat was released on one of the most expensive shipyards in the world - Lürssen. The representative of the businessman declined to comment.

According to the owner of the portal Itboat Nikita Gorchakov, the sale of a boat can last 2-3 years, so the announcement of the sale may be due to the desire to get offers as soon as possible. According to the founder of Yachtharbour Dmitry Semenikhin, boats of this size are very popular in the market, and many put up boats for sale in order to assess the willingness of buyers to buy a yacht at a price that exceeds the cost of it. “The market is very active, often there are good offers. Until 2008, many buyers ordered yachts and immediately sold them. This earned 15-20%, “- says Semenikhin. According to him, the turn to order similar yachts on solid shipyards is painted to five years. It is possible that someone wants to buy a boat, so as not to wait for the construction of their own.

The Areti has a large suite and eight additional guest suites that can accommodate up to 18 people. The owner can use the spa center with sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Cruising speed is 15 knots. The boat is in the top 200 best yachts in the world, but it’s still far from the leaders. Among the Russian owners of megayachts Roman Abramovich boasts the longest boat, which owns a 162-meter Eclipse. The longest yacht in the world remains the Azzam (180.6 m) family of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Earlier, Makarov had two identical 38-meter Areti yachts: one cruised in the Mediterranean, and the other in the United States. Later, the Areti was renamed its 60-meter Trinity boat. In December 2015, it was sold for $ 45 million and was named Mia Elise II.
