Pumpyansky's yacht was arrested in Gibraltar

Finnish customs has detained 21 yachts that may be associated with the Russians who fell under the sanctions. In Gibraltar, the yacht Axioma, owned by billionaire Dmitry Pumpyansky, was detained.
Finnish customs data are provided by the newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. If the authorities have confidence that the yachts belong to persons under sanctions, the question of freezing the property will be raised. According to Reuters, Axioma is moored in Gibraltar under the Maltese flag. According to Refinitiv, the yacht left the island of Antigua in the Caribbean on February 27, crossed the Atlantic and arrived in Gibraltar on March 21. Yachts and other property of Russian businessmen are detained in Europe after the imposition of sanctions by the European Union, Great Britain, the United States and other countries. According to Bloomberg, in Italy alone, the assets of Russians for about €780 million have recently been frozen.
