YaNAO received in the governors of the elite in the second generation

The head of the region was 30-year-old Dmitry Artyukhov. His father, Andrei Artyukhov, is vice-speaker of the Tyumen Regional Duma and a prominent party activist of United Russia.
President Vladimir Putin, during a working meeting, proposed Dmitry Artyukhov, deputy governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, to lead the region. His predecessor, Dmitry Kobylkin, went to work in the White House. Mr. Artyukhov will be the youngest in the Russian governor's corps.

Dmitry Kobylkin as head of YaNAO was replaced by his deputy Dmitry Artyukhov. According to Kommersant's information, he, like the appointed Governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moore, held so-called courses for the training of governors and was a reserve managerial personnel under the patronage of the presidential administration (see "Kommersant" on November 9, 2017), took part in competition "Leaders of Russia".

The former head of YaNAO, Dmitry Kobylkin, who headed the region since 2010, became Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology.

Dmitry Artyukhov became the youngest representative of the governor's corps in Russia - he was only 30 years old this year. Prior to this, the status of the "youngest" head of the region was Anton Alikhanov, governor of the Kaliningrad region (1986). Mr. Artyukhov was born in Yamal, after graduating from the magistracy and postgraduate studies of the Tyumen State University he received an MBA from the Singapore University of Management. In the office of the governor he has been working since 2010, in 2016 he became deputy head of the region.

In the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, which is part of the "matryoshka" entity of the Russian Federation (the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug are considered part of the Tyumen Region, but the association has not been legally registered), a multi-stage election system operates. 40 days before the voting day, the head of the Tyumen region must offer the president at least five candidates for the post of governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. Vladimir Putin will choose three of them and submit them to the Yamal Legislative Assembly, which will be selected by the head of the region on a single day of voting.

Earlier today, Vladimir Putin appointed the Tyumen oblast head Tyumen City Governor Alexander Moore to replace the head of the Ministry of Construction, Vladimir Yakushev. Also, the Governor of the Amur Region, Alexander Kozlov, went to work in the White House, and the appointment to the region is expected in the near future. The most likely candidate for this post is called deputy chairman of the president in the Far Eastern Federal District Vladimir Solodov (see "Kommersant" on May 25).

On May 28, the heads of the Magadan Region and Yakutia Vladimir Pecheny and Yegor Borisov resigned voluntarily. Vladimir Putin appointed the Magadan governor of the mayor of Nizhny Tagil Sergei Nosov, and the head of Yakutia, the mayor of Yakutsk, Aisen Nikolayev.
